Many things can cause a poor or compromised memory. If you are young and generally healthy, 2 popular causes are anxiety and Attention Deficit Disorder. People with ADD/ADHD tend to have problems with math. Not diagnosing you, just ruling in the possibility. Could be other things I'm not listing.

First I'd look at making simple adjustments:

Sleeping habits - Do you get enough sleep?
Nutrition - Are you eating enough? Enough healthy foods?
Environment - Is your working environment really distracting?
Emotional Distractions - Are you under a lot of stress lately
Drug side effects - Both over-the-counter and prescription drugs at times can cause problems w memory or mental processing.

The next approach is to speak with your family doctor. If ADHD or another cognitive disorder is suspected, you'll likely get a refferal to see a neuropsychologist to have a battery of tests done.

This sounds frustrating, but with a little detective work you may yet find out what's going on. Good luck.

You can 1.Write it down.
2.Think what you have to memorise over and over.
or 3.Tell someone else who has a good memory.
