No, excess protein can and will be stored as fat if you consume too many calories.

Here's a helpful link for you:

Food is stored as fat. It doesn't really matter what kind of food...it is stored as fat. By upping your protein intake and upping your weight lifting, you are helping your body build up the muscle..ie, your body will "use" the extra protein rather than "storing" the extra protein.

Is some excreted? Probably a little.

But the answer is 'yes' if you are wondering if adding extra protein (chicken breasts, etc) can cause a person to add fat. Just up your exercise and up your protein intake though and you should be fine. No reason to take in extra sugar either...

not exactly true however the common belief is that your body can only assimilate (process) 30g of protein per hour. If you want to gain mass you need to eat more and more often.

Every 3 hours and take in 2g of protein per pound of body weight and 4-6g of Clean carbs (potato's, oatmeal, yams, whole wheat bread) per pound of body weight EACH DAY!!!

Eat big, lift big, eat big again then sleep big..you will grow, I promise.
