Are 90% of asians really lactose intolerant??

I read that alot but i dont know many that arre...how is itpossible 9/10 are lactose intolerant. I am asian myself.
Also if your asian and are lactose intolerant do you know many peers who are???

i think its a little lower than 90%, but it is something like 50-70%. black people are even higher. but many people are very mild though and their symptoms are subtle (a little extra gas, maybe a mild cramp once inwhile if they ingest a large amount of dairy product) so many are use to mild symptoms and think it is normal so they dont realize they have it. also, it tends to be more noticeable with age and im guessing youre young.

asians and blacks are thought to be lactose intolerant at high rates because historically they didnt drink dairy products, while europeans have been eating dairy products for thousands of years and adapted (whties have a very low rate of lactose intolerance)

Yes, it's true. Think about asian cuisine, there are no dishes that are milk or cheese based, because they cannot tolerate it. My boyfriend is Vietnamese and lactose intolerant, but he can handle more dairy than I can. I am of German heritage and also lactose intolerant.
