There are several possible majors you could choose. International relations, sociology, history (emphasis on contemporary or Third World history), economic/community development, sociology, education, psychology, biology, agriculture, and nursing are all possiblities. It depends on what kind of aid work you want to do. Anything that provides you with a usable skill-set will probably do.
Bad bets are English, art, theater, etc.
A better question might be to ask "Where should I go to school?" A large university will have much better resources for connecting you with international aid groups than a small liberal arts college.
