You should have one. A lot of the Caribbean nation SAY they will accept a drivers license, but, the safest bet is a passport.

You will need a passport beginning in December of this year. Right now, you can get by with a CERTIFIED copy (with a raised seal) of your birth cerfiticate. I would advise getting a passport ASAP, the prices are going up soon. The travel industry is told that increase will be $20 or more.

I just made a reservation for a vacation in jamaica. they said you need a passport. the old drivers license doesn't work anymore.
