The biggest problem you will encounter in leaving home at 17 will be trying to rent a place to live. Legally in Texas, anyone under the age of 18, can't be held to a contract with out a co-signer and depending on location, possibly the amended rules could read, not even with a co-signer. The legal thing is going to be a big hurdle, as far as being recognized in today's world as an adult. There is a new law that considers 17 years a legal age to be held accountable for, but it's still 18 as far as most legal issues go. They basically changed this, for those who get in trouble with the law, so they can trial them as adults. A loop hole and a contradictory in terms!!! You would get a better reception in todays world, according to the laws, if you could possibly wait until your 18.

I am not familiar with laws in Texas, but I know that in the majority of the US you must be 18 or have parental consent or they can file a police report naming you as a run-away.

Moving out at 17 is a very stupid idea. Unless you have an exceptionally great job, you are not going to be able to provide for yourself, and will probably be appartment poor. ( I think they say that you should not spend more than one week's pay on rent.)

That varies state by using state. each state has a particular age in which they're considered adults. i think that Texas is 17. you ought to easily call the police agency line and ask them, they must have the capacity to inform you. i think that you'll be able to bypass out although.

umm....yes... although you might wanna think about it for a while.
just sit in your room, on your bed. look out your window. try to remeber, as you look around your yard, or your neighborhood, something fun you did. wether it was wash a car, or ride a bike, or soap someones windows on halloween. just calm down and do this everytime they piss you right off. 18 will come soon enough.
