Right now I got this old camera (Film) Canon EOS 1000N with Tamron Lens 28-200 . and I want to move to a digital camera, and keep my old lens. So I wonder if there is anyway to adjust this lens to a SIMPLE digital camera, and not an SLR...
Thanks !

Well technically, I guess you could. You would have to construct the mount somehow, but if it isnt an SLR you would have a heck of a time focusing it properly.

If you consider the $700 Canon Rebel XT (a.k.a. 350D) a simple camera, maybe. The mount will fit, but there's no guarantee that the electronics will match 100%. Try it out in a camera store to be sure.
For any other brand SLR, forget it. A Canon lens to a Nikon body doesn't work (you can get an adapter to put a Nikon lens on a Canon body, however) and apart from the Canon Rebel XT, the Nikon D50 and Nikon D70, there's nothing out there for under $1000 worth buying.
For compact cameras, forget it. These generally have 35-300mm lenses anyway. Some compact cameras do have their own wide-angle or tele-extender adapters, but none take SLR lenses.

You probably wouldn't be able to do that very easily. Many digital cameras now have a way to mount a second lens on them (but this causes a loss of quality), but I think they usually have to be made from the same company as the camera. I think the same goes for digital SLRs actually, I think the lenses have to be made from the same company, but ones from film SLRs from the same company should work.

i'm no longer very acquainted with Nikon, yet I do have a similar kind you've (the N65), and for the reason that it is an AF digital camera, a similar lenses will in good structure on the digital cameras (a minimum of in accordance so what i have study). besides the actuality that if it matches, does it function completely (autoexposure, autofocus) on your modern digital camera? if so, then it received't be a subject matter.
