Go to the drug store and find some topical anti-fungal cream. The most potent one is Lamisil (Terbinafine). It comes as a jock itch or athlete's foot product. Apply once or twice daily. You will see the lesion stop itching in a day or two. The lesion itself may not resolve for a while longer. If it doesn't work, make an appointment. By the way, you can pass this to others through direct contact.

HI, PLEASE listen to me when I say this... GO to the DOCTOR!!!
I had ringworm in my senior year of high school. I got it from my cat too. I used to hold it with the anus on my arm and "boom", ringworm! I did not listen to my mother when she told me I had it, I denied it, and I was in pain with it. I put other ointments on it, and they did not work. I had to walk the stage with my ringworm, and accept my diploma. Now had I went to the doctor a month prior, it would have healed, and there would have been no explaining what was growing on my arm. (The more you scratch it, the more it grows, and you can spread it from one part of your body to the next, so wash your hands and sheets frequently.)

At the first outbreak you should have gone to the doctor. Everyone in the house would have gotten a perscription for medication to get rid of it in a day or two. Not sure now that you waited!!!

There was no reason to get rid of the cat. Have the cat treated by a vet and he would have been fine. You need to get to the Dr. immediately. You and everyone else in the house for medication.

Yeah, you are best off going to the doctor as it seems to be quite a severe infection. The doctor can presecribe some powerful anti fungal drugs that will clear it up quick.

i dont think its too bright not going to a doctor because of your job, if "i'm infested with ringworms" isnt a good enough reason for your boss then put some worms in his food so he gets em.

As you have multiple ringworms on your body, you will have to consult a Dermatologist who will prescribe you oral antifungal
tablets for 4 weeks and antifungal-steroid cream ,antifungal cream to apply twice daily.
