yes, i think so...17 is better than being 15 and you are showing that you are responsible enough to have sex because you are talking about using protection..just promise us that you will use condoms and that you won't be asking "am i pregnant" questions in a few months...

Darling...what are you thinking? Let me give you a word of advice:keep yourself valuable, you mentioned that you loved him, what if he doesn't love you as much as you do, i know you would say that you know he loves you but you don't know the degree of love he has for you.The boy might make it sound easy but the honest zazo truth is that sex is a big step, don't make the mistake of taking that big step so sudden...Another thing is DON'T confuse sex for love because believe me you he might leave you after having sex and then give an excuse like 'its just not working out between us..you know' and then give you that 'it's not my fault' face. This would hurt you because you have given him your innocence and you would never get it bad..and do you know the worst ,you would imagine him with other girls enjoying himself while you are grieving. My solitary advice to you is to wait ,if he really loves you,if he really IS THE ONE then he would wait. But if i am really going to give you a strong advice, it is for you to wait until you marry to have sex.
Another advise:don't rely on any sort of protection...coz anything can happen...as usual.

It depends. Do you love this person you want to make love to? Are you ready for the possibility of pregnancy? Are you ready for any other consequences that sex could bring? You need to be asking yourself these questions...before you do anything else. Sex really is a wonderful experience with someone you love, but you need to make sure you are ready for it.

Protection is NOT 100%. Ask yourself, "can I afford to take care of a baby in the event I get pregnant?" love does not pay doctor bills or buy milk and pampers. Think about it. If he pressuring you for sex, tell him to jerk off.

No, because at 17, you still have no idea of the emotional implications of that act, and even if you are "being careful" you can still get pregnant. I've known many people who were being careful and had children with a person they definetely did not want to share the rest of their life with and hate their situation now.

Well, really, no. You are giving away something to a boy you think you love. This will pass. You have so much learning and growing to do as a young woman, is there really a need to take such a huge step at this age? Think with your head, dear one, not your heart.

Well its up to you what you want to do, put this into consideration: does he really love you? At the age of 18 you really love someone else then sleep with him, then at the of 19 the same & so on & so on? Mmhhh

no, because sex is more than just a physical act. every time you do it you lose a little bit of yourself. if you break up, then that's part of you you will never have back. you are too young to understand what you are really doing. that's why you should wait until you are married. you aren't losing part of yourself then, but investing it in your partner.

Every girl I know that lost her virginity before she was 18 told me they regretted it. They are in their mid 20's now. If you are asking about it it means you are not sure. If I were you I'd wait a year or two.
