20Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe. 22Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom, 23but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, 24but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 25For the foolishness of God is wiser than man's wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than man's strength. ! Corinthians-- God is not mocked, the Truth is the Truth and it will make men stumble. This is far from new news, but blessed are those who believe and have not seen. His Word will not return void! Isaiah 55:11 And for believers Ephesians 6:12 "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against
principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness

I am attempting to answer to all of those on this site who attempt to attack Christians when their fight is with God Himself. The only question here is if you will readily fight with everything a person states on here, then if only God's word is stated, then your issues are with God, or you believe in faith.

focus here on God's word will be a stumbling block...

Thank you, Annie for proving my exact point. All I did was quote Scripture, and all you did was oppose. Your fight is with Him, and yuor wrestling is not with humans who accept Him, so thank you for proving what God has said all along.

ok, xoxo, again looking at the physical, they did die, they died SPIRITUALLY. Separation from the Creator. Thanks for proving my point and siding with the devil, saying that he told the truth, when it is well known that Satan is the father of lies John 8:44

Sounds like you are the one doing the attacking. Most everyone else is simply doing what the human brain was programmed to do...question everything and learn. Regardless of your beliefs, we were not created to be mindless sheep in a herd.

Aside from a couple of fools referring the name "Allah" as satanic (ooooooh! how scary!), or people having no idea of what being Jewish actually means (both religions are beautiful by the way), most everyone on here is great.

Just because one chooses to defend not so much a religion but an entire population of people (JUST LIKE YOU AND ME!)-polititians aside- it doesn't make that person a member of that religion. Do you know what a humanitarian is?

You are every bit as likely to find me dancing naked under a full moon and burning white sage in my house for "cleansings" and hanging up traditional besoms in my house as you are to find me at church attending mass.

Following the teachings of Christ is far more than saying you've been born again. People can say it all they want. I, personally, would rather live it through genuine kindness to others and desire to help. The church, as a political structure, will not ensure your place in Heaven (or what ever is beyond us). It is simply four walls with a man who claims to know God in the lead. Thus far, I've been none too impressed.

Some of the most spiteful, hateful, and absolutely sexually deviant people I've ever known have been "born again". The reason? EVERY THING IS EVIL. Therefore, no matter what you do, you make a mistake. What a crappy way to live.

Remember this, Christ denied no one his teachings. He welcomed everyone. He also, didn't preach in a church and in fact, stated that you need not attend one to find God. The issue with that statement is that it came from his brother, Thomas. Thomas's gospels were banned by the church because his very statements took away the churches power and control over people. Modern day churches have become exactly what Christ was trying to fight in his time-rich, corrupted, political instituitions who's main goals are money and power. I'm not even going to touch on the wars they cause....

The bottom line, just be a good person, live what you believe rather than preach it. No one here is out to get you.

Well once gain everything out of the mouth of babes, can never be from your brains it's always quote the Bible. The writters of the Bible tried in every thhing they wrote to cover their butts. Foolish is the reader. Everytime something was said in the Bible that they didn't think anyone would actually jump right in there and believe they wrote things like, thats only for God to know, your not supposed to have that knowledge, just have faith that God knows and you don't have to know. This is all in the same context as the guy that sold the bridge to the people that lived in the desert. And, If there was a God to write about, they really should only tried to write about good things, and leave the lying and killing out of the story. His first LIE, GOD said eat the fruit of that tree and you will surely die, Scare tactics, the Serpent comes along and tells them the truth you won't die you will just have knowledge, Your God wants you to stay like his puppets and they ate of the tree and DID NOT DIE.What kind of a GOD do you follow.

Of course opposition to Jesus' message is not new. Paul was busily at it in the very first century, the Church Fathers were sedulous in showing that he didn't really mean what the Evangelists recorded him saying, and churchmen ever since have been smacking down those who preached it.

Then about three centuries ago scientific knowledge reached a level at which we could put the assertions of the Bible to proof, and they consistently failed. Ever since then the wisdom of man has been wiser than God's foolishmess, to the point at which we can begin to say that the Gnostics may have been on to something when they asserted that the God who created our universe was stupid, malicious, or both.

just prove to me there is a god, everyone you show me I will show you evolution OK I will even go first.
We all talk about not being able to see the change of evolution, Just look at your grand parents, look how short they are or were. we are all taller and stronger, than our for fathers. your turn, I have a bunch more.
You believe in a book that was written by man, and they left out some gospels, look at the lost book of Eden. it said that Jesus like a liked joke sometimes and he would turn mean people in to goats, he thought that was funny. The gospels that are not in the bible are the one that cause the most controversy, that is why they are not all in their.
Religion has killed more than any disease, religion has started hundreds of wars. Would a god let that happen? I went to a religious collage too. I have a bunch more, and please just do not say faith, that is a cop out for I do not know!!

Why oppose your BS, because all you damnable zealots, with the manipulation of power and money mad interests are driving us to the brink of WW111 right this moment, because thousands are dieing while mealy mouth bible thumpers quote Bible passages about principalities, powers, and the rulers of darkness, look in the mirror and see where the chaos and murder began!

You and your ilk are no different than all the other zealots and your Christ of salvation and kindness will surely have to intercede to save your sorry hides!
