cats are usually very clean animals and only need baths when they get really dirty. Cats also usually HATE baths and this can be especially difficult to accomplish, certainly when they still have their claws.
one thing to keep in mind for any pet is that their skin has protective oils on it that help keep their skin from drying out as well as help keep them healthy and disease free. You should never bath an animal more often than once every 2 weeks, and really, only when necessary.

Yes you should. If you have a bathtub or preferable shower put her in there. Don't make the water too high. Put the water half way up her paws and just wash her. Don't have a lot of people helping or around you. Cats get freaked out if all these hands are at them. She may scratch. Talk to her and make her feel comfortable. If you don't want to bathe and put in water you can go to the store and get quick baths. They are kinda like a baby wipe but a bath thing for cats and then for dogs. Good luck with the adorable calico kitty!

Well, most cats despise water. So if you notice your cat got into some mud, or she just isn't smelling right then I think it's time for that bath. Just to relieve the stress I think you should leave it until she smells, or looks dirty. They even sell harnesses for cats for this situation!
Go to your pet store and buy some CAT shampoo, and her favorite treat and toy. Run warm water into the tub, and if you prefer, put the soap in there too. get your cat close the door(I suggest you get smeone to help to hold the cat in the tub) and just wash your cat like you would your hair. You can do this 2, or three time if you'd like. When you're done drain the water and rinse her off, and give her a treat and lots of hugs. You may prefer to towel dry her or blow dry her but if you blow dry keep it a distance away from her as to not burn her. Then brush her off, and give her another treat, and play with her fav. toy.
I'm not sure if she'll respond to the treat thing if she doesn't like the water. But you'll be surprised how many cats LOVE water.

You should bathe any feline every couple months or after extensive outdoor exposure. Just make sure there is no standing water. Do it in a sink or something. Keep the water running and DO NOT leave them alone. They will jump out and get water everywhere! ALSO, make sure you get cat shampoo that is specially designed for cats; human shampoo is not good for them. It is also important to rinse them off completly so they're not licking shampoo off of them afterwards.

cats do hate water and they can bathe themselves but if you are allergic to cats it sometimes helps to bathe them. I have 2 cats and I am allergic to cats. I use johnson and johnson baby shampoo it makes their hair soft and smell good. But if you dont' have allergies then I wouldn't bother it is a real hassel they go crazy when you bathe them. I would only bathe them if you are allergic, they got dirty, or they smell other than that save your time and it will keep your arms from being clawed up!
Goodluck!

You will actually dry her skin out and disturb the natural balance if you bath her too much. If she smells bad take her to a groomer, trust me, you do not want to bath a cat!

Indoor cats are pretty much always clean. If you're gonna do it, maybe twice a year and use something like Johnsons & Johnsons so it wont hurt thier eyes. Try not to get water in their ears.
