The first situation is possible... the second is a little bit difficult. Break-ups are ususally not the best foundation to start a friendship. You're feelings have just been hurt by a person... would you wanna be their friend?

i never really had sex with someone i would call a friend. i think lovers make better friends. i would rather get the sex outta the way and then work on friendship. if we start off as friends and get to close as friends the sex might be weird and it could ruin a great friendship
