THE LG 42INCH PLASMA OR EVEN BETTER GO FOR THE SAMSUNG 42IN LCD SCREEN

I personally would go with a Panasonic or a Pioneer plasma. For an LCD, I would go with something like a Sharp or a Samsung. All of those models have a tuner card to watch TV on them. It's just a matter of preference of what you like in terms of the style of the plasma/LCD and of course the cost of how much you're willing to spend on it.

Just a recommendation cable cards don't work very good, stay away from them.

The best TV in the market is the Panasonic TH-42PX600U.

I own a Sony Grand Wega 42" plazma three years old and no color loss. Buy the very best you can. Sony LCD projection TV is excelent too. Each set has features and problems DLP, LCD use light bulbs that are expensive and sometimes hard to change. I also use a digh def tivo receiver.
