No. Small children, in my belief system, will not go to hell. You have to be old enough to understand the concept of sin. and some adults still have a hard time with that one.

No. Small children, metally handicapped, etc will not go to hell. Anyone who is unable to understand the difference between right and wrong/who is unable to distinguish the two will not go to hell.

God takes care of the small children. They will not go to hell. And by small I'm talking infants and toddlers.

If a child dies before the age of accountability, then he goes to heaven. The Bible is not specific on this age, but the age of accountability is the age in which he can firmly understand the gospel message. I cannot give you any guidelines on this other than what I have just said.

In short no, because the Bible teaches that they are in an innocent state even though they have been born with the "sin nature" or propensity to sin. David's son died and he knew he would see him again... he also predicted his destiny (David) was eternally in "the house of the Lord", therefore his child would be in heaven with him. Jesus likened anyone entering the kingdom of heaven as humbling themselves as a little child, which indicates they are in an innocent state, having not sinned against their conscience and God.

i may not be a christian but accourding to some fundamentalist christians anyone who dies without believing in jesus goes to hell even small children no exceptions once so ever. if a child is killed in my opinion they return to heaven where they are needed.
fundamentalist are the worst kind of christian you can ever meet and if one of them had a heart they know that we are born without sin and we are born without immorals. humans are born atheist and then forced into christianity. thats the fundamentalist stand point of it all..

No, how silly! God does not send young children to hell. To go to hell one has to "choose" to do evil, and to know exactly what they're doing, young children are not able to make that decision.

I don't believe they will. The Original Sin that we're all born with isn't enough to send you to Hell, and a young child is too innocent to have knowingly committed any mortal sins.

Die-hard insane fundamentalists will tell you that we are born into sin and that yes, unless children are saved they will fry like salmon in a pan.

there was the belief that they go to Limbo, or a place for children who died before they were old enough to choose from right and wrong
