This is not meant to be a sexist question, so please do not get offended. While i am aware this is a generalization and not speaking about every woman out there, there is something i need to know. I see a lot of posts on here and in my life time where women are always like, "How can i get a man to have sex with me?" "I want sex, how can i make my man give it to me when i want it?"
Granted i might be taking common sense for granted here, but start something your self. My question: Why do most, not all, but most women in relationships feel that the man has to initiate sex? If you initiate it, i doubt we will turn you do. Also, why are women afraid to initaite sex?
Once again, this is not about every woman, this is a generalized statement, please do not be offeneded, thank you.

Takes a lot more than that to offend me sweetie!
I guess that a lot of women still buy in to the social gender conditioning which seems to stipulate that the male should 'woo' the female. This stereotyping is beginning to change but I reckon it will take a long time before every women stops living with this false consciousness that is practically drummed into them from birth!
And by the way, if I want sex with my guy, he sure knows about it!!

I'm also giving a generalized answer. I think maybe most women prefer to be pursued. They might want to be made to feel sexy and desired. With the man always initiating the sex, it might make those woman achieve that desired feeling. A lot of women seem to be insecure when it comes to sex, so it might be easier for the man to make the first move. Some women are too afraid to be aggressive sexually. Women are generally stigmatized by society for being sexually aggressive, so because of that, some women will not be aggressive even at home with their loved one. For those women who just want sex, but can't seem to get it...well they are obviously not trying. Trust me, any woman can get sex whenever she wants. There is a man, if not men, in every town/city that is just waiting for a girl to offer sex. Men are the ones that actually have the hardest time getting sex. For all the ladies out there, if you are in a relationship and are nervous about intiating sex, then talk about that with your man. Discuss with him how you want sex, but sometimes feel shy about it. I am positive that he will make you feel better and he will assure you that you will never have to ask for it. Ladies, if you want sex, then get into bed naked. That is all you have to do. Your boyfriend will see you naked and take the hint!

That is a helluva question. Most of the women who dont initiate sex dont want it bad enough. Because I would think like most guys their man is down for it whenever. I know I am. But it just doesnt make sense to me though. That is a great question man.

Because most men are put off by an aggresively sexual women very few men like that and it's told to us in many subtle ways, you ask why?

The thing is I start showing him signs of wanting sex and he blows me off. He tells me that he doesn't want to. I let off and then he starts that he wants sex. I think it's just a game to him. Not trying to generalize, but when a man doesn't want sex, he just doesn't want to and you can't change his mind.

Maybe the lady prefers to cede control to the man in her life. I agree, if a woman is having problems with her man not wanting to have sex with her, she oughta step up to the reins.

Women are afraid to initiate sex because they don't want to be thought of as sluts. Also some men are intimidated by women who are aggressive.

I doubt you, WHY? I met my present b/f and after a period of three weeks, he didn't make any attempt to make love to me, so I made the first move, I'm sure it's all about being confident in your sexuality!

Being a Male you have some responsibilty, and women want males to satisfy their male ego, being ahead in their mascualnity.Why should we leave our feminity doing what is not suppose to do, we are shy soft, weak creatures, want male to be dominating in our life.

I don't know why women dont ask for sex when they need it. I think women should not hesitate to ask from their husband at least they are one.
