Hi! Yes.....emotions do rule your actions but you have to be very careful about it! Most, or rather all of the suicide cases are a result of that. It has be discovered earlier and dealt with before things took a bad turn. It is indeed very dangerous if all of your actions are emotion-driven. We all need to learn how to separate emotions from actions by being clear minded about the things that are happening or have taken place. Never do things at a spur of moments and never let your emotion rule you because you may be ended up sorry and most of the time, there wouldn't be any "U-Turn" for it especially if our actions have already created a consequence and there'll be an expensive price to pay which is most of the time nor owrth it at all. Keep cool...no matter what happened. The more confused and angry you re, the more you'll have to stay composed. There's this saying taht says, "Anger there may be; but don't let your anger result in regrets". We may have somehow "heard" our subconcious mind telling us to go ahead and do something but remember we have to weigh the pros and cons of everything before any action, know the consequences of every action before any action. Prevention is better than cure! If you have the tendencies to act rashly & impulsively, the wiser thing to do would be to talk to a unprejudice, clear-minded person because the "man-in-the-fence" can see better. Well, you are welcome to email me at: unending_bid@yahoo.com.sg if you wish to and I'll be mroe than happy to "lend you my ears" and share with you as much as I can. Be Happy....Because msot of us are like that so you're not the odd one out there! Take care & Cheers!!!

It is actually our emotions that affect our mind. Whatever we think at that moment affects our mind and the decision we make.
Every human have emotions coz we gave feelings, don't you agree.
Most people always let their emotion get better of them. Whether it is a joyous event or bad mood, we just show our temper to others.

Dear, its actually a combination of our emotions as well as our mind.....
What we think at that moment and what are our emotions for that particular thing. This makes a great sense for ur question.
Moreover,
The example u gave in ur question bout a party,if u don't wanna go there, then there may be some other reason too for that in the corner of ur heart or ur mind.........that may be stoping u to do that particular thing.......
its seriously in case of meee.......
bye and ave a nice day......

Emotions may cause one to think of something but I feel that the brain is more responsible for my actions than my emotions. Example: I can feel angry but my brain decides whether or not to slap the idiot up side the head. (LOL, I don't slap people--just an example)

Emotions have evolved because they help promote survival of our species. The last part of the question is very interesting indeed - I think it is the case for anyone who believes in heaven and hell that emotion is the primary force - it most certainly isn't reason.

Emotions tell you what you want to do. Morals tell you what you shouldn't do. Your emotions are your own, your morals are taught to you as you are raised.

I used to, but now I try very hard not to. I try my hardest to allow the Holy Spirit to rule my actions.
