do you think they should start arresting americans, who are marrying these illegals, this country has a law about aiding and abeding criminals. do you think that would put a stop to some of these americans marrying these illegals for money to make them citizens?and it would stop some of these that claim they fell in love, when their eyes met, while he was jumping over the fence.

People who knowingly marry an illegal should not whine when the law catches up to them like so many on here do. They whine that their family is being torn apart, well...yeah...it IS....Having a family does not make anyone exempt from the law. The bottom line is...If you marry an illegal...then at least have the courage of your convictions and stop acting like you didn't know the consequences of your action. It is kinda the same thing when people whine about having lung cancer after they have smoked for decades and they act like they didn't know it was dangerous.

So your saying the government should control who we should marry? I am with a mexican, and very proud of it. We have a beautiful little girl and I would not want to think that someone could come between a man and his family. Who the hell do you think you are to even come up with something so absurd. Granted there are people that do that; but you can't say to make it a crime for those of us who are legitimate, and have a good relationship and are in fact in love. Basically your all for taking rights away from everybody. Do you see what your turning this country into. Is this what our fore fathers had in mind when they came to this country.

The house had it right in the bill that started all this:
Prosecute ALL who in any way, shape or form aid illegal aliens and fail to report their presence in this country within 20 minutes. (This allows for those of us who would hose down an illegal who is on fire in the street or who has been hit by a car as he/she crosses the freeway to help the human being, but still be in compliance of the law.)

You're right,they ARE aiding and abetting a CRIME!!!! They should BOTH be punished!! Don't LISTEN to those on here that are BITCHING about your question,because THESE are the ones that are married to illegals!!!
And,it's really HARD for me to even feel sorry for their kids, when their family gets ripped apart!!! They KNEW there was a chance of that happening when they MARRIED the illegal!!!!
Should we "feel sorry" for a BANK ROBBER who finally gets caught,and is sent to jail for his crime??!!! A lot of THEM have children and wives ALSO. It seems to me that if you were truly in love with someone and wanted to spend the rest of your life with that person, you would do everything to insure that, by abiding by the law. Why would anyone want to live in fear that they would be separated, not to mention any children they might have and the trauma they would go through if one of their parents were deported. So yes, I think there should be some kind of penalty.

i think something should be done for sure.. especially if someone is paying for the other person to marry them for they can stay in the united states... i think we have enough immigrants over here now.. america needs to take care of our own people.. they may be letting people in america and they are really hostile toward america...i think they really need to do something...for sure...
