I once looked up an old girl friend from when I was young. She asked me if I had any regrets. I said no. I had lied to her. I was wondering. Did I do the right thing by telling her no.

My only regret is that i cheated on the only man i have ever loved because i thought he didn't love me. Thankfully we are back together but to this day he still does not trust me. I love him so much and i cannot believe i could have hurt him like that.

I told someone that I didnt like a guy that she USED to be dating, and she went and told him. I thought she would be mad if I had liked him, but he actually put her up to asking me for him. He didnt like me too much for the rest of the year, and the next time I saw him, he was in HS, and I was still in Junior High, and we were on a class trip to the HS. well, as we were leaving, and me being down that I didnt get to see him.. his friends ran out of the school and down some large cement front steps and yells out to me, "Craig doesnt love you anymore!".
Yep. Felt like crap. I had really liked him. Now, he was over me.
Dont know if this would be the ONE regret I would change, but it came to mind after reading yours.. :)
Now that I have a five year old, I think the one regret would be that I didnt go and make a career first. I wish I made some good coin for this beautiful daughter I have! Especially since she's so happy everyday!

The one big regret i have is
2 years ago my grand mother died,we were very close,i used to live with her,she was disabled and i took care of her.
My family are a gang of spongers,they even tried to break into her house when she was in hospital to take what they could but my mum changed the locked luckily enough they didnt get in.
When she died my mum asked me to say a reading at the church and i wish i had given them a mouthful when i had the chance,i owed it to my nan to tell them all to eat sh** and die but my mum asked me not to coz she was already too upset,so i didnt and i just wish i did.
I have nothing to do with them and if i never see them again it will be too soon.
I should have said something to them and let them know the misery they caused my nan and i didnt.
Thats 1 big regret i have and i carry it every day and it winds me up that much that if i ever seen 1 of them in the street i know id kill them.

I got married when I was 17 because she was pregnant. To this day, I am angry at myself for losing out on 10 of the best years in a guys life. HELL YES I HAVE REGRETS.

well i do not knw that for sure... she may of really cared for you.. that was probably why she asked...i wander where your relationship might be if you had told her that you cared for her...but we all do things like that at times.. one thing i really reget is getting married to fast and not really knowing the person well enough.. it has led to so much heartache for me.. and the men i married were just out to use me anyway...i lost a lot through the years ,, even damaged me from their abusive ways.. but i am not so quick to jump into any relationship with anyone anymore...but i still have to live with the damage i have.. twice this happened to me.. and head trauma takes time to show all the damage that has been done..and i helped these husbands get off with just probation when they should of been doing time..but i am doing the time with the damage now....but i have learned a real lesson.....that is for sure....

My biggest regret is that I slacked off completely through High School. I got bad grades because I just didn't care, and I wasn't really into any school activities.
In regards to your question about your ex you should have told her the truth.

Not marrying my boyfriend. We were together for more than 10 years and I feared of getting married and lost him. I regret that everyday of my life. He was my soulmate and I realized it way too late.

ive regreted things like drinking too much and getting a lil freaky which pissed off this guy that i was talking to and we never got together
but would i go back in time and change it?
NO
because ur past expierences shape who you are today and you learn from them blah blah blah but i would never want to change what ive done in the past cuz i like who i am today
and since i passed up on that one guy, it gave me a chance to be free for awhile and i started talking to my now current boyfriend more and then we started talking and he enjoys me for who i am and i dont have to hide anything and i love him!!
so i guess i dont regret that one night lol!
