Unless you can change the rules, no. The best way to make points is by giving good answers and getting the 10 points. Other than that, you can minimize your losses by selecting a best answer and getting 3 points back. Finally, answer more questions. There's no penalty for stupid answers, so answer as many as you can and only ask a few. At least until you get up to level 3 or 4 where you can ask and answer plenty to keep you busy.... 'nuff said?

no. But you lose 5 and gave me 2... doesn't seem very fair huh. You do get 3 points back for choosing a best answer so consolidate questions and ask like 5 at a time :)

You earn back most of the points by choosing a best answer. I also like to answer questions while I am waiting for an answer to earn back the rest of the points.

`When you pick best answer you get three points back. So it only costs 2 points to ask a Q.

Yes, you lose points when asking,but you get points when answering.

Only ask questions that you really want to know the answers to. Don't ask stupid, silly questions. There's no other way to ask questions.

earn them back by answering other people's questions and vote on undecided questions and rate people's answers. ;)
