She will do it in front of just about anyone. She also will openly talk about going to the bathroom ....#2 to be more clear. Is this normal behavior? There are just some things I feel should be left unsaid. And there is a place called a bathroom for doing such things. I know everyone has to fart but she'll do it in front of her boyfriend too. Does anyone else do that or am I just being weird?

It is a bit forward of her to do so. She just may be that type of person obsessed with her bowels.

You are not weird, she is. Get this straight, I have answered a lot of "fart" questions, and it's not something that you should do in polite company, usually you can feel one coming on...and you can excuse yourself enough to move away to expel the fart.
This can be a good thing if you find a particularly annoying salesperson though, after you have told them you do not need help you are only looking, if sis lays one of her eggs make sure to call them over immediately if they are just standing around "watching and waiting like a vulture" suddenly as the scent wafts upwards engage the sales lady in a myriad of questions, then if your sister can squeeze out another one...GET THE SALES PERSON AGAIN. I hate pushy sales people.
From somewhere your sister has gotten this rude tendancy, and the only way you can change a grown person is if they are wearing a diaper! You either have to learn to tolerate it or limit her invitations, and if she asks why, tell her the truth! If it's a problem and you don't like it, you don't really have to socialize with her. Tell her to leave if she and her flatulance stop by when you think she may feel like being rude. If she really cannot help it ask her to try some Beano or some OTC *(over the counter) perparations for gas, something like gas x or something to help her, if these preparations do not work, she may need to see a doctor, excessive farting can be a sign of digestive problems, that she should be aware of.
Good luck, some people are just rude that way.

You sister did this probably because she finds farting funny. It was probably because she had gas and wanted to feel the relieve of letting it go. If she didn't let it go she would have got a sore tummy. Did you know she is doing the right thing by just farting when she needs to as not burping, peeing, farting or pooping can cause major damage to your insides leading to you having to have operations to save you life. In my honest opinion I think your sister is a awesome chick by farting when she needs to. I guess that's because I don't have any problems with girls doing it after all its only natural.

She farts in public and does this because her body has waste that she needs to dump. Good on her for doing it in public places. She is only using her body the way it is designed. When I was at university I also farted loudly there so many times.

My older daughter does this too (and she is 26). My younger daughter (22) does not! I wonder if it has something to do with one's position in the family. The older daughter's nose was very much put out of joint when she found she wasn't the darling she supposed at 4. That wasn't anything we could have done anything about, I don't think. It's just the position that people imagine themselves to be in. I wonder whether it would have been different if we had presented her with a baby brother rather than a baby sister.

That is gross....I think she does it for attention...to get a reaction out of people.. It's not very normal to say things like that. I mean that what the bathroom is for...There are people who do that but its not cool...And trust me you are not being weird I would be freaked out and annoyed if someone was doing that around me too.

I knew a few girls that did that. Personally, I found it offensive. If one slips out, that isn't a biggie. Put if your cranking them at will, it is offensive no matter what sex you are. Your sister is just trying to get attention. Next time she does it, ask her if she thinks making an *** out of herself makes her special.
And for the idiot who says that "everybody does it," remember that everyone takes a dump as well. Just because "everybody does it" doesn't mean you have to do it in front of everybody.

2 have a name as yours and end your question if you're just being weird, pretty much clears up the idea of farting in a "BATH"room !! Behavioral mannerisms can be "blown" out of proportion, thus...do unto others, as you would want others to do unto you !! Have a good day !

Yea I do it....I am open about it just because of one simple point you made.....everyone does it...so why hold it in....if you got to do it then you just have to....aint nothing wrong with it.....personally I could give a crap less about being polite around other people about it because they do it to and no matter how much you hold it in or whatever it is you do....they know you do it and you know they do too....so whats the big deal!!

I used to think it was gross b/c my brother does it but I just joined in the fun...Hell u only live once. You don't want to talk about this in a fancy restaurant but if she is chillin in the house and she wants to fart on her man let her...obviously he doesn't care, you shouldn't either.

I had a girl Friend that was lactose intolerant and couldn't help but to fart and burp all the time. She may need to speak to her doctor.
