It is 100 percent possible.....I know alot of people like that because they have a wall built up due to something that happened in their past...most likely due to trust issues so they have a hard time expressiing their emotions.

We learn how to physically express love primarily from our parents.
Certain folks are never taught this, for one reason or another. (Perhaps their parents never hugged or kissed them, maybe they were not raised by parents, etc...)
When they become adults, they don't know how to react to love and consequently fail to teach their children how to react to physical shows of emotion.
There is therapy which can sometimes teach people how to physically express themselves, if that is their problem...

some people (mainly men) find it hard to express emotion. some men are even taught that its "unmanly" to do so.
and sometimes (for men and women) love is such a strong and powerful feeling...
I try show my husband how much i love him but it doesn't even sum up to a quarter of how i feel.

Depends upon person to person. Many are there who doesn't want to show it as bcoz if their proposal is rejected then they might feel that they've lost something.

you would want to show it if it was true love, if you are not showing it much then there is not much love there
