Yes, just as women are beginning their peak sexual years, men's hormones change & the amount of testosterone they produce drops off sharply - causing any number of problems from mild (not very firm) to awful (totally unable to perform). And at times, there is a general overall lack of interest in sex as well. It seems they'd rather watch a race or paint the house than pursue their love life. Some medicines on the market can help & there is testosterone therapy too.

I think most people perceive how a woman's looks change with age to be a steeper curve than with men, both attaining a higher peak, but then dropping more quickly with age. Personally, I've seen some very attractive women in the late 30s and early 40s. However, they were all women who continued to take good care of themselves including working out and maintaining a proper weight. I think unfortunately, most women (and men too) don't do a very good job of taking care of themselves once they hit 40. ~

Ummm, as someone of the aforementioned demographic, I have to say no, we don't. Unless its due to a medical condition.
Some men do have a "male menopause" where their testosterone level drops which would lead to a decreased libido, but I don't know anyone personally who has.

i don't think they loose their sex drive, it is all about how they perform at that age...usually when a man gets older he can't...let's see how do i put this...he can't stay aroused as long as he used to or he ejaculates fast...that is why there is now Viagra...lol
