Let me tell you that some guys like that kind of treatment. It tells them that person really cares. So it is not all bad. I just tell my man I will be back and where I am going and we both do the same. If I don't want him to go anywhere then he don't and I won't either, it is called good communication. Something you know nothing about!

If one is married, the other person owns your body(*). That means that in principle, you should always seek your partner's permission before doing anything. Voluntarily, not out of fear. It's called 'accountability', and gender has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Sure there are some arrogant types that ignore their mate. Those typically do not stay married long, as the whole idea of marriage is that the two become one. Scared isn't the right word, respect is.

A lot of men are inconsiderate and disrespectful. This is why women get upset. If they were less of those, then they would see a major change in their relationship.

although i have to agree with you that there are guys who are scared of their partners, but it doesn't necessarily mean that guys who ask permission with their wives/girlfriends to go out and have fun are scared, the more appropriated word for that is respect. e.g. what if your partner just walk out on you and go with his/her friend for fun, does it mean that he/she is not scared of you or he/she does not respect you?

Im not.
But behaving like that wont mean that they are scared about them, we can take it as the way how they love their wives/girl friends.
