They are bullies.

They are not attacking 'everywhere madly.'

.If you pay attention you would notice that their attacks have two specific goals:

1) Get their people back
2) Convince the Lebanese government that they need to prevent attacks on Israel from their soil.

Personally, I am surprised that Israel put up with this as long as they did.

OKay. So, you take a group of people, right? And over thousands of years of history, give them a beat-down at the hands of anyone who feels like stomping on them - Romans, Babylonians, blah blah blah. Then throw in a genocide somewhere in the last 100 years (from which many are still seething.)

Then, carve out a little peice of land for them in their traditional home region, and surround them with countries that have no greater desire than to see them wiped off the face of the earth.

Then, supply them with advanced weapon technology.

What do you THINK is gonna happen?

If I was surrounded by terrorist groups as well as a country like Iran, whos president calls for the outer destruction of Israel, I suppose I would defend myself as well.

If u mean why they are launching missiles into Lebanon because, they want to knock out their infrastructure like bridges, power plants, and fuel resources that way Lebanon will be forced to return the soldiers or kill it's country. Lebanon has to think now how important are three soldiers compared to their country.

Bible Prophecy....that is land is going to be "trodden down" til Jesus returns.

Luke 21:24And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

As for the people Ishmael's descendants it was prophesied in Genesis 16:

12And he will be a wild man; his hand will be against every man, and every man's hand against him; and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren.

Cause it's the ONLY thing Hamas and Hezbolah understand. They(arabs) LOVE to dish it out but don't seem to like the "taste" themselves. Try a little objectivity and turn a critical eye toward Iran...

To make a point.

They are of the conviction that if they don't show force they will be overrun in no time. They may be right. It may even happen in spite of their show of force.
