Brian Adams:when you love someone,(not to be confused with when you love a woman)
I'll stand by you...can't think of the woman who sings it...80's song I know.
Faith Hill and Tim Mcgraw: Just to hear you say you love me
Life House: Love of a lifetime (the older one, I think the new life house band also sang it)
Life House (the newer band): Hanging by a moment
Michael Buble:Save the last dance for me (something a little different from the sappy love songs....it's the song from the movie The wedding date.)
I know I gave more than 3 songs, but I have a ton more, I'm picking my wedding songs right now too and the older songs are always timeless and you know everyone of all ages will like the songs...good luck!

I presume you mean for the reception aterwards and not the wedding itself.
I think - Come on Eileen (afterall everybody dances to that!!)
The Birdy Song (for all the children and the drunk uncles/aunts who can't resist)
Wonderful Tonight - for the slow smoochy number towards the end when everybody can get sloppy.
This way you have music which should cover most of the guests.

For my handfasting I intend to play for my partner

1) Moving on up - Primal scream
(I was blind now I can see, you made a believer out of me, I was lost, now i'm found, I beleive in you, I got no bounds, I'm moving on up, out of the darkness, my light shines on...........)

2) You make it easy - Air
(Never been here - How about you?"
You smile at my answer
You've given me the chance
To be held and understood

You leave me laughing without crying
There's no use denying
For many times I've tried
Love has never felt as good

Be it downtown or way up in the air
When your heart's pounding
You know that I'm aware

You make it easy to watch the world with love
You make it easy to let the past be done
You make it easy

How'd you do it? How'd you find me?
How did I find you?
How can this be true?
To be held and understood

Keep it coming - no one's running
The lesson I'm learning
'Cause blessings are deserved
By the trust that always could

Be it downtown or way up in the air
When your heart's pounding
You know that I'm aware

You make it easy to watch the world with love
You make it easy to let the past be done
You make it easy)

3) The girl from Ipanema (we're not quite sure how but this has become 'our song')

I would also play Lamb's Gorecki but all our friend's have had that so its become a bit cliched for us
(If I should die this very moment
I wouldn’t fear
For I’ve never known completeness
Like being here
Wrapped in the warmth of you
Loving every breath of you
Still in my heart this moment
Or it might burst
Could we stay right here
Until the end of time until the earth stops turning
Wanna love you until the seas run dry
I’ve found the one I’ve waited for

All this time I’ve loved you
And never known your face
All this time I’ve missed you
And searched this human race
Here is true peace
Here my heart knows calm
Safe in your soul
Bathed in your sighs
Wanna stay right here
Until the end of time
’til the earth stops turning
Gonna love you until the seas run dry
I’ve found the one I’ve waited for

The one I’ve waited for

All I’ve known
All I’ve done
All I’ve felt was leading to this
All I’ve known
All I’ve done
All I’ve felt was leading to this
Wanna stay right here
’til the end of time ’till the earth stops turning
I’m gonna love you till the seas run dry
I’ve found the one I’ve waited for
The one I’ve waited for
The one I’ve waited for

Wanna stay right here
’til the end of time ’till the earth stops turning
I’m gonna love you till the seas run dry
I’ve found the one I’ve waited for
The one I’ve waited for
The one I’ve waited for)

I would choose....

"Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye" - The Casinos
You have to listen to it. The title sounds sad, but its not really.

"Wonderful World" - Louis Armstrong

"Save the Best for Last" - Vanessa Williams
