I'm Buddhist and we are not required to convert others. You basically try to reach enlightenment for the good of all. We pray for the enlightenment of everyone, though the only way we can help others attain this is through compassion and following the Buddhist path.

Christianity does not require me to convert others like one working in a department store would try and get people to acquire that particular stores credit cards. Christians are rather, instructed to share the gospel with non-christians. Matthew 28:19-20 says "Go ye therefore, making disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always even unto the end of the world. This scripture simply commands us to share the gospel, and teach new christians about christianity, using the bible. What encourages me most is the fact that Jesus say, but don't worry, I am with you no matter where you go. Even to the ends of the earth.

No, my religion does not require me to convert others. However, I am supposed to share my faith. But, I cannot force anyone else to believe what I believe. I can only plant the seed.

We Muslims do not 'convert' anyone. It is God who guides whom he will and leads astray whom he wills. So we are just giving the message to the people. It is up to the people to accept/reject and ask God to guide them. The message is very simple. We are encouraged to tell people about our religion through our actions and speaking. It is not required but highly encouraged. If you do not then you are with holding the light from others which is not good.

As a Latter-Day Saint the Job of converting is not required, our job is to teach others the true message of Jesus Christ and his restored gospel. It is up to the individual if they want to convert or not.

I am Wiccan. And you are free to choose the faith that you find. Wicca does not go looking for followers but welcomes anyone with an open mind.
