Please elaborate on your question... are you trying to lose weight? Or just keep fit? Either way, low carbs should go hand-in-hand with high protein, not fat. Losing carbs will make you lose energy, unless you compensate by eating more protein, this gives us energy too. High fats can make you sluggish, and in the long run cause obesity, high cholesterol, and other health problems.

Have you read the Dr. Atkins books? I really suggest you do if you're trying to loose weight or control diabetes as it sounds simular to what you're already doing. In his books he starts carbs out at 20 grams for two weeks, then you slowly add whole grains and other low glycemic foods. The first week is to kick start your metabolism. His book uses lower carbs, so that they burn off fast leaving your body to metabolize the fat instead, and he allows fat. The thing is though, even Dr. Atkins says not to go overboard on fat. So I would suggest keeping fat in moderation.

Carbohydrates the limit is ok but excess of carbohydrates while eating more potatoes is harm to your health definetely obesity i mean fat
