The sin that Adam and Eve commited was to eat from the tree of knowledge. They sought knowledge or understanding of self and other and were thus divorced from God, their creator, and paradise in unity. If you wish to return to the garden of Eden (I suspect it will probably take much time, patience and hard work) then you need to stop asking questions and let go of your rational thinking mind. You then return to a full, unified consciousness both within and without you, consciously experiencing everything and nothing simultaneously. Or something, I haven't perfected this art or even much practised.

But this creation story of the bible, freed from a literalist interpretation, has much in common with Buddhist, Taoist ideas, for example. It says that knowledge, the workings of the rational mind, divides self from other and hence divides a once unified consciousness.

Names can name no lasting name.

Nameless: The origin of heaven and earth.
Naming: The mother of ten thousand things.

Who says God is so forgiving? That incident occurs in the Hebrew Scriptures, and the God that is consistently portrayed there is forgiving only up until a point. He has expectations, and if you don't meet them there are consequences. The Christian concept of God has more difficulty explaining the expulsion from Eden, which makes one wonder why Christians hold so fast to it.

God did not banish us from returning into the garden, in fact, he provided us all the opportunity to go back into the garden of Eden! And anyone living can still go in if they want to, they have that choice! So if you want in you can go in it is up to you!

Because he wanted human to realise how much sin he has done and because of his love and forgiveness he decided to send them out of that garden instead of killing them so he gave them time to repent and change.
Yes you didnt eat the fruits of the forbidden tree but you should understand you are the descendants of Adam and Eve. Be blessed pliz read the Bible.

You are sinful by nature, and there is no denying that. Read Ephesians 2 and more. God is loving and forgiving because he sent Christ to die as an atonement for the sins of man. God is loving and forgiving because the sinless died for the sinful, and Jesus Christ conquered death with his resurrection. God is loving and forgiving because He works all things for the good of those who are called according to His purposes (Romans 8:28). This is the truth, that if you repent of yours sins and believe on the Lord Jesus, you will spend an eternity in the new heavens and the new earth where there is no longer sin, we will have glorified bodies and will be worshipping our savior.

yes, you haven't but Adam did, he was given the choice of life with or without God. Its the same for you: you have to choose if you want the Paradise he made for you or not. The story in the Bible is a metaphor for our lives. Christianity is all about making the choice to love God in every day of our lives, every day we have temptations to bite from the "apple".

He banished us in order to test us, whether we would like to have a life besides Him or not, all of our lives we are tested just like the firs couple, there is no difference between our sins and their sin.

The fruit thing was just an excuse - in reality, God wanted the garden empty so He could develop it. I think He got planning permission for a super market and multi-story parking lot.

Yes Adam and Eve was banished from Paradise. God knew that they will eat from the tree after the command was given to not eat from the tree. That is from the knowledge of God. This is mainly a lesson for us. One lesson is we will committ sins and the best of those who committ sins are those who repent and correct themselves. They repented and asked for forgiveness. It was granted by the merciful God. To answer the question. The answer is simply because a GREATER good will come from that evil sin of disobeying God. Just like creation of Satan. A greater good came out of his creation which is people turning to God after the negative feeling acquired from obeying satan's rules. From that banishment of paradise came the first sin committed and came the concept of repent to your Creator ASAP. The reason why that scenario took place was for God to show Adam and Humanity his main attribute of the Most forgiving. We children of Adam tend to despair from the mercy of our Lord when we committ major sins but we should never and reflect back on the story of Adam (as). The Quran (Koran) teaches us that if we did not committ sins and ask for forgiveness God will replace us with people who committ sins and ask for forgiveness. That is the mercy of our Lord and to Him alone we should submit. Hope that helps....Side note: We as Muslims do not believe in original sin (created sinful) and someone else dying for your sins. Especially Your Creator dying for your sins. That is just simply confusing. We say everyone is responsible of their own actions and everyone should have correct belief, try to do good and forbid evil...

Adam and Eve who were perfect, in a perfect Paradise, sold their perfection, by stealing God's only private possession there. They became spiritually imperfect, leading to physical imperfection.

Then, all their children inherited only what their parents could give them. Adam and Eve chose Satan as their father. Genesis 3:1-6; Luke 4:6.

As we all know, God wants to adopt any of Adam and Eve's children, who desire to do what is right. God even arranged the payment. All we have to do is have faith in these provisions. Ephesians 1:5, Romans 8:21.

Romans 3:25,26 God set him forth as an offering for propitiation through faith in his blood. This was in order to exhibit his own righteousness, because he was forgiving the sins that occurred in the past while God was exercising forbearance; so as to exhibit his own righteousness in this present season, that he might be righteous even when declaring righteous the man that has faith in Jesus.

God lives by his own laws. Jesus was equal to Adam, (when Adam was perfect), therefore God is righteous when using Jesus as a payment for what Adam sold.

Adam and Eve cannot give their children something they do not own; perfection.

Could Adam and Eve show love and respect for The Creator's ruler ship, by obeying ONE law? Genesis 2:16,17; Genesis 3:6,23.

Can we obey the ONE law of faith in Jesus??? John 3:16-21; with the result of entering Paradise. Luke 23:43; 1Peter3:13; Rev.22:2; Rev.2:7.

If God is so loving and forgiving why would anyone be banished to hell?

Simple Hell Doesnt exist, it is only what we make our lives become by being a bad person.

I am not agnostic. I do believe in God. But I don't believe in hell.
