my son cant drink it either (he's a phenylketonuric) so he has rice milk, still not pleasant but better than soy, there is a calcium enriched rice milk - go with that and maybe add a little milk flavouring to it.

with the cup problem, only give him "boring" drinks like water in his sippy cup and if he wants juice or something nice like that then give him a regular cup.

but you definantly need to see another doctor, the one u have sounds like he has a few screws loose.

If he has a genuine allergy talk to a specialist about it.

Otherwise you can add milk to his soy in increasing amounts until he gets used to the taste which is quite different. If he doesn't like it though, don't force it. As long as he is getting some calcium. How does he go with cheese and yoghurt? These are often alright for people with some kinds of milk allergies.

My three year old girl has EXTREME excema and she is allergic to much more then cows milk. She is allergic to milk, soy, peanuts, mold, dust, etc. He probalby wont eat it because his body in a sense knows he is allergic to it! My daughter wouldn't touch peanuts before I knew about it! Have you got him tested for more then one allergy? I had to!! There is an allergy specialist for children! You have to get recommended from a Pediatrician I believe! Look into it! I am right now!

Try Goats milk - my cousin is lactose intollerant too and she grew up on goats milk. Your son will not be allergic I promise!
