Do you realize that every time you click a link to an adult web site;

1. You are helping to promote human trafficking.

2. You give pornographers another reason to kidnap and rape another innocent human being.

3. You are putting an innocent life in danger.

4. You are condemning some woman to eternal damnation.

5. You contribute to slavery, drug abuse, and the promotion of every evil and vile thing.

When you click that link, you are just as guilty of these evil crimes as the men that kidnap and rape innocent children.

Human traffickers do use porn to finance thier slave trade. They also use illegal drugs and prostitution to finance their trade. Every one that clicks a pornographic link is in some small way responsible for the next victim.

1. While human trafficking is indeed a problem, the amount of girls that actually go into porn are minimal. Most will go into straight prostitution

2. Unless you're watching really horrific porn, these women are not kidnapped and raped. They are well paid.

3. Not saying that people haven't been harmed via porn, but in most cases, the women are in no more danger than when having sex at any other time

4. No, you are doing that.

5. I personally find ignorance is vile. And yet, even though you seem to be against porn, you are still incredibly ignorant. If I promise never to watch porn again, will you promise to educate yourself and stop making up facts?

1. Not all porn sites are using trafficked girls.
2. In most of porn movies you have professional models playing.
3. The models have contracts and are paid for their work.

You are assuming that all the porn in the Internet is illegal which is absolutely not true. I agree there is a lot that should not be and I agree that we should not click on any suspicious porn links. It is not the question if porn being cool it is a question of personal choice. I am not defending the porn industry but we should not blame the ones that are making legal money out of it.

For the love of God - "Reverend" get a life.

1. Not all porn stars are women
2. What about male porn stars and gay porn?
3. If it relieves sexual tension in men then why the hell complain - it probably prevents more rape, than if we didn't have porn at all.
4. I don't condone porn it goes against my Xtian ethics but what the hell - everyone to his own
5. Paedophilia is slowly but surely being eradicated on the Internet thank God.
6. You are too much into the presumption that every male on the planet who has access to the Internet looks at porn - GROW UP

No, it is not cool. Thank you for the question.

It is addictive, and (as you say) often ruins the lives of the actors as well as the viewer.

I have heard statistics that an extremely high proportion of husbands who divorce have a porn habit. I know in my marriage, my past habit with Internet porn really made my feelings toward my wife change in a bad way. It has taken me years to shed the majority of the effects of this - and it continues to haunt me. If you're curious, only through God's help have I been able to overcome.

I am involved with a church men's group. It is incredible how high a fraction of the men have or have had an addiction to looking at Internet porn. It often is very difficult to stop looking at it once you start.

It may shock you to know this but a lot women are perfectly happy to take part in pornography. I'm sure that what you have metioned above occurs to a very limited extent, but most porn is produced professionally and with the consent of those involved. If it's child porn you mean (and quite frankly you haven't been clear about this) then yes, its disgusting and anyone who uses it or who is involved in the production of it is purely evil.

I'm just guessing, but are you by any chance an evangelist preacher from the United States? If you do come from the states are you aware that your country's economy spends more on pornography in a year than it does on education??

I hear you rev but porn like the sex trade itself is virtually impossible to eradicate; infact porn on the net is even more monstrous because it's so convenient to access.

I wish there were more anti-porn hackers like in Israel where some porn sites were blanked out by religious youth hackers. Governments worship "freedom of expression" to ridiculous heights... to the point of corrupting young minds and indirectly contributing to moral decay in sodom & gomorrah societies. But much criticised China has barred its millions from accessing porn and has cracked down on adult-content providers. It is the right thing to do however undemocratic it may seem in the US and the west.

Porn is never cool, always corrupting and is contributary to sex crimes and violence. I don't need social scientists to tell me any different.

That is certainly not true.
Although I myself am not a porn fan I know there is a difference between children being abused or people being raped and grown adults choosing to have sex in front of a camera. It is unfair to class someone who likes to watch consenting adults have sex as a child sex offender.
And no, I do not think porn is cool.

I note from number 4 that it is only the women who are condemned to eternal damnation - so that means it's ok for the male porn performers. Whew, am I greatly relieved or what.
