We got married on June 10th and originally made a wedding website on weddingchannel.com, the ones from websites like that are really basic and don't offer too much flexibility. Just before our wedding we put one together at http://weddingannouncer.com
The site is wonderful and offers flexibility to add your events and more then just one or two pictures as well as add music to your site! It also lets you put together photo albums of different events like the bachelorette party, bridal shower, wedding, anything you want!
Our site is http://normandandjessica.weddingannouncer.com and that will give you an idea of some of the different things you can do on that site.
Also as a side note, weddingchannel.com is a good website for ideas and pictures but I would stray from ordering anything from them, they ended up messing up my order and nothing came in on time, I fought with them for 4 weeks to get my money back. My advice is to check with the online version of the Better Business Bureau before ordering anything online for your wedding. Once I looked up weddingchannel.com I saw that they had an F rating.
