Depend's on the airline and wind direction but on average anything from 9-10 hrs. You would'nt get a direct flight , normally change at Atlanta so you'd have a few more hour's after that.

frankfurt to LAX takes about 13 hours so seeing as frankfurt is one hour ahead of london and pheonix is 1 hour ahead of LA, i would say between 10 and 11 hours. however, with a layover in dallas (usually), you will have at least 1-6 hours layover so tack that onto your flight time! good luck!
