I'm a sixteen year old guy trying to work out if it's really worth the the money and time for a girlfriend. Wouldn't they get in the way of your life and career? I'm really a shy guy at school and hardly talk to girls let alone those of my own gender.

What is so special about dating the opposite sex?

Thanks.

Well women have lots of knowledge they can support you in a way that no one can explain. They can treat you like a king help you when your in need, and can give you the up most conditioning love. That's whats so speacial about dating the opposite sex and yes it is worth the money and the time.Men have needs as much as women do.But is still good to concentrate on your career now.Get your self together before u date so get your career started first and then if your thinking about dating you ll be ready!!!!!

no dear it is not worth it trust me, u r going great, good u asked the question at the right time, concentrate on ur carrier, and studies. dont get bogged down by peer pressure, be cool, but most important never feel that there is something wrong with u if u do not have a girlfriend... no harm in talking to girls though.

You are right that your life and career should come first. Some people share it with a girlfriend but if you don't want to be bothered right now with one there is nothing wrong with that. Lots of time later.

Wow. Someone who actually thinks before they act. Yes, girls do take up yor time and money. If you don't see the point in dating yet, then don't. Spend that time getting out of school and figuring out what you want to do afterward. Maybe then you'll know if you want to date or not--and if you do, you'll be ready.

Being on my own may be tremendous at situations yet then it ought to truly suck e.g. on valentines day even as all of your individuals are on dates lol. to have the capacity to reply to your question, its no longer unnatural for my section notwithstanding it ought to look that way at situations. and that i imagine if its the right lady or a minimum of a positive one, then of route its truly worth having a girlfriend. =]

No it isn't worth it at the age of 16...You have so many changes ahead of you and so do girls that age...the relationships that do form that young usually end up OVER and both people very, very, hurt... Save yourself the grief...just make some "girl" friends.

At your age you must just enjoy life an not worry about getting into a serious relationship. But it is very nice to love someone and be loved back.
