No, I've never tried that but I have had sliced boiled potato ( the smooth textured variety ) with salt n' pepper in a sandwich ..... maybe a little fruit chutney with it occasionally ......... it's something different when looking to get away from the usual jams/jellies or meat.

When I did eat tunafish sandwiches (vegetarian now), I put potato chips on my sandwich. Plain or sour cream and onion were the best.

Yeah, that's really good. I put plain chips on my sandwich. In the South (in America) we made sandwiches with fried potatoes, bread, and ketchup. It's really good.

I'm so guilty. On my hamburgers. I put sour cream and onion chips on them. Also on tuna sandwich (which I don't eat often, I don't like seafood.) barbeque chips.

My belgian grandmother used to give my mother sandwiches made with chips on buttered baguette bread, and my mum passed it on to me!
Scrumptious...but not to be abused!!
Try eating it with an omelette on the bread too.
