HOMOSEXUALITY its a disorder not a disease, and yes they are born that way.

normal hormones make men attracted to women, so they can have kids, but homosexuals hormones go bad and they are attracted to thier own sex.

it is caused by being the second born male, the first time a woman has a male child, the body sees the testosterone being as an invader, and the next time a male is in the womb, the body might try to attack it with female hormones.

being gay is more than just liking men, from the time the person is a child, they have been making feminine hand gestures and catwalks.

of course, there are those fake gays who became gay after women mistreated them and they hated women for it

this rarely happens, but its a sexual disorder they are born with

I do not think any normal person wakes up and thinks; I would like a 10" C**K up my A*S today. It is a birth disorder and needs to be corrected before there are no people willing to have children left. This may take a long while but is probably a long term threat posed by nature. As a survival measure, we're trying to correct everything from near sightedness to spinal bifida and downs syndrome, this birth defect is no different and not condusive to our species, it must be corrected. The ones who do wake and decide to be gay are no different then maladjusted serial killers. Everyone thinks about how awful we treat gays but think about the mechanics of the bedroom. If they can do "it" to each other what else do they do, (man love boy assn (NAMBLA) etc,). Remember that gays started spreading AIDS. What next, a course on anal lubrication in public schools? All non-standard human traits and activities must be studied and everyone should express their opinions (in favor or not), that's freedom. We need more discourse to understand both sides (lifestyle and affliction vs science and correction) And no, it's not wrong to be worried by them (if you’re normal). If a man was walking around swinging an ax (or lusting after my rear-end) I would see that as a threat. There is a reason that we don't want them in the military, and it isn't because they act differently. Imagine being stuck in a fox hole for weeks. Do you feel comfortable knowing that your friend may have visions of you naked spread eagle on the bed...and what he is thinking of doing to you...nasty. Try living like that on a Naval ship with no escape for months. Forget the lawsuits and politics they use to force acceptance on us, it's not normal to be gay, period. The producers of the movie "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back" were fined $10,000 for just mentioning the word gay the wrong way, and it never even made it in the final edit. That is way, way out of hand! Their assulting all of our rights for just being normal. Everyone knows homosexuality is wrong in their gut, we just conform too easily (look at the hokey religions like scientology and Heavens Gate). Also, do not be afraid to speak your mind, we still have a little bit of the first amendment left. It's all fun and games until you find your rear-end bleeding.

Gay homosexualty is no more a disease than what you classify as hetrosexualty. Sometimes in the gene splitting process the x
and the y chromosones just get mixed up...When they should be creating a guy....it creates a guy with more x than y....body looks like a guy but the mind is of a female or the guy looks like a guy but with his eyes he doesn't feel the attractions to females but more to men.

Your friend is who he is...he's having fun and loves and is confident with himself.

You are you and you should be supportive of your friend. If you aren't then you're not much of a friend now are you.

Lol, are you serious? You ACTUALLY think that sexual preference is a Mental Disorder...

You, my friend, are an idiot. And I cannot believe how many people have answered yes. Personal preference is not a DISEASE or a DISORDER, it's exactly that, a PREFERENCE. You all make this world a very close-minded and narrow place. You should all be ashamed.

he may be acting out on the stereotypical activities of the gender he identifies with....he'll cool down when/if his hormones stop raging, and he matures a bit. sometimes the freedom of being able to express your true identity is like an aphrodisiac. hopefully he will come to realize that all of our sexuality is a personal issue, that not everybody wants or needs to know who or what he bangs. then again....it may be a mental illness!! i don't know the background on this guy....

homosexuality is not a mental disease it is a choice that someone makes in their life and they are labled for life. How would you feel if your choices in life were suddenly cut off by a bunch of people who don't even know you.your friend is just showing sexuality and doesn't care what anyone else thinks about it . all I can say is good on him.

No, it is not a mental disease, it's a lifestyle, and I think the one's that say it is a mental disease, are the one's with the diease. Personally, I'm not gay, but I think people ahve they're ways of living, if they were meant to be the way they are, then that's that, do people say you have a mental disease, if you eat one or more cupcakes..NO..(well unless you're eating for pleasure and not hunger)...but anyways no disrespect but you're giving your friend disrespect.

Professionals do not support any linkage of sexual orientation with psychopathology.
Sexual orientation is an essential human quality. Individuals have the right to accept, acknowledge, and live in accordance with their sexual orientation, be they gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or heterosexual. The legal system should guarantee the civil rights and protection of all people, regardless of sexual orientation. Prejudice and discrimination based on sexual orientation is unconscionable.

Come on, being gay isn't a mental disease and who he likes doesn't make him sick. It seems that you are threatened by your friends blatant homosexuality. It's those dreams isn't it, those dreams of sweaty men and bears...they haunt you don't they? Hehehehehe :)
