I think she would just be glad to see you...but I don't recommend a gift...b/c sometimes I get the most horrible gifts...so what I would do, is give her a gift card to one of her favorite stores, that is always a hit, because that way they don't have to return that dish set you got for a new stereo!!

Since she is your mother, you know her the best. That is why you can see what her personality is like, and then buy a matching gift.Flowers and box of chocolate is never a wrong choise. Also, you can buy her a women purse or an organizer.Mothers love that.If nothing doesn't suit you, just buy her some make up or something. And a music cd isn't a bad idea, either.

It depends on where you've been. If you've been out of state or out of the country for two months, bring a souvenir and have dinner out so you can talk. If not, then bring her flowers and have dinner together (in or out I suppose). If you don't have time for dinner, then giftcards are very nice too.

What does she like? If she likes smell good i would get her a gift basket from victoria's secret or bath and body works. Or if she has hobbies get her something associated with those.

A shot glass. It's portable and a very nice nick-nack. Flowers die and food gets aten. She'll have the shot glass forever.
