You have enjoyed something that is only truly available to home gardeners. Getting new potatos from the ground to the pot in less than an hour--the experience cannot be matched.
The pressure cooker might have been overkill, though. All you need is a little light steaming, and perhaps some butter for utter perfection.
What variety did you grow? Potatoes with gold flesh, such as carolas, golden fingerlings, or red golds will produce the creamiest results for fresh dug new potatoes.

Yes, new potatoes from the garden are oh so good. Especially cooked with some green beans.

I like potatos any way, but I think the best wat is to sliced the potatos, then put them into the steamer for about half an hour, along with other vegies, and then drizzle a home made mushroom sauce over them.
