I won't come up with another scientific definition, I'll try to give you some advice though. First to boost your memory you need good sleep, OK you're stressed maybe, take a few minutes to relax forget everything and then get back to work. I only remember things when I give them a context of it's own. Example, if I want to remember a number like 690, i record it as being June 1990 which is my sister's birthday. So I can't forget it since it is defined by something I already remember. On the other hand you can picture everything you read. But most of all, don't overbook your memory. And good luck! It'll be fine.

Huh Oh I am sorry what was the question?

Read the material and put it down, then ask yourself what you just read. If you need read it again.

Donnot spend any more than 20 minutes at a time studying.
study 20 take off 10, and that will give your brain time to put things in order.

Cramming DOES NOT work...

Hard things to remember - make up a funny saying, use a rhyme,
anything that will even trigger the memory. If there is many one word items like this:

Types of vehicles

car
motor cycle
truck
bus

Then use the first letters C,M,T,B Can, My, Turtle, Bark

You will remember that easily and that gives you the first letter of all the words

The more silly the easier it is to remember.

Now go ACE your test

Exams are something yu need a good sleep the night before.
There are other things that can be done for blanking out in exams. Talk to the student centre about coping strategies for exams.

If there is lots of memorization then try making up a system like I use for the colors of the rainbow... ROY G. BIV
red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, Violet... I used this system LOTS in Zoology and Botany while working with all the Names/Char.
Make up a funny word that starts with the first letters of you answers.

Try mnemonics.- method or artificial system for aiding or training the memory.
For example:- If you want to remember Trivandrum city, split the word into 3 parts. Tri-van-drum. Tri=3, van-vehicle, drum-musical instrument.
Suppose you want to remember some facts about Blood transfusion, remember ABCDEFGHI
A for allergic reaction.
B for blood vessel clot.
C for circulatory overload, citrate intoxication.
D for disease transmission.Malaria, Serum hepatitis, septicemia, syphilis, AIDS.
E for embolism.
F for Febrile reaction.
G for granulocyte antibodies.
H for hemosiderosis, hemolytic reactions, hyperkalemia.
I for infected blood reaction, immunological sensitization.
You have to do advance preliminary work to study this way.
