You should think about floppy substitute hardware, rather than floppy repair software.

Floppy repair... :-) I don't think any floppy repair software available. But, there are some data retrival softwares for drives and disk, you can try with.
Floppies are actually outdated. Floppies can't be used once gone in most cases. Those were drive, just to tranfer data (not for storing purpose any more). If something really important is lost in your floppy, try some softwares in 'download.com', where you can find the most trustable software around the globe.

Flobo Floppy Bad Sector Repair works well for me. Sometimes even with floppies that have had a "sector zero bad / track unusable" error. Your mileage may vary. This tool will not recover you data. It will re-write the floppy to allow proper usage again. In doing so all data on the floppy will be destroyed. I check my floppies like this on XP.
Type + on your keyboard.
In the box, type "cmd" and hit enter.
In the DOS box (well, not really) type:
"chkdsk /r a:"
Assuming your floppy is in the a: drive since no one uses b anymore anyhow. and don't miss the colon ":" after "a" or else it won't work. That will scan the floppy and tell you if you have any bad sectors. If so, then run Flobo.

No I think you cannot repair a floppy, but you can still retrieve old files from bad floppies (if they are not beyond repair). This link may help you.

You didn't say what operating system this was for. PC/Mac CP/M? What?
When you say old, how old? you talking about 5.25 inch floppy disks, 3.5 inch? Or 8 inch floppy disks? And what operating system do you have access to on now to attempt to do data recovery to?
