Nature (In a scientific kind of way it is incredibly clever). It all works so well!

I am an atheist, I believe in no high being at all, what so ever, so I thank nobody. Who do you think we would thank? I say thank you to someone who does something nice, but as of so far nobody has actually given me air to breath or the sun, sky, or earth. Well maybe my mom, she did give birth to me, and I think I have thanked her plenty over the years.

Note to self: Thank you sun for giving me light during the day and keeping me warm. Thank you sky for being blue and not so blue sometimes. Thank you earth for giving me something to stand on, and thank you air, for letting me breath you in every moment.
Even though we are all killing you slowly...

To none.
If I do something that accomplishes gratefulness, I thank the people helping me or whatever. It makes me probably feel good and I'll probably do something good again that day or the next knowing how grateful I am to have done so good...
If I am in a difficult situation I depend on myself and/or people around me instead of praying for God's help and protection. That is the one thing I understand for sure: praying feels passive and fatalistic to me. I think I get forward acting good and nice using knowledge and common sence in an ethical way.
I read and think alot about ethical issues.

And just Who would I be giving this thanking to,
please understand the difference,
I do not believe in your or any other God, finish.
I am not a Heathen,
I am not a Satanist,
I am not a practitioner of Witch Craft.
How long before you Christians start to get the concept into your heads that there is no God
Santa also is not real.
Nor is the tooth fairy real

well i am sure as hell not thanking your god that is what I am gonna do lol.
Ok ok it's fun how u think there is an obligation for thanking someone for everything. Do u think your god is that insecure that he or she hahaha will just take everything away if u dont thank him. Well he might, i mean the bible does say he is vengeful. But if he takes the sun away because of u, then everyone else will surely suffer too wouldnt they. Hence, as long as there are crazy zealots like u who are doing the thanks for people like me, I am not worried about YOUR god taking my big firey warmy sun away.
So perhaps I should thank you for wasting your everyday time thanking god. But then again I dont like wasting time, so I wont be thanking you anyway, too bad. So pitiful that you have do all our thanks for us just so god doesnt get all rageholic. I think I made my point.

Don't know about the sky, the sun and the moon but I am sure as hell that they are thankful to those religious people who do not shove their religious beliefs in their throats.

I try to be kind to everyone and just live the best I can. I thank my fellow man for various things that we have here to enjoy. That's about all any of us can do I believe. There's no way we are going to figure out what is real outside of this world.

i didn't know i needed to thank anyone for nature... but all the gifts of modern society such as internet eletricity tv sex porn drugs music movies --- i thank money. without it nothing would of ever happen on the blue little orb festering with overly smart apes.... lol without money i dont even think religion would of prospered into what it is today.

i'm agnostic, so i want hard evidence before i sign myself into any religion. I don't really feel the urge to give thanks. i just like to live life as it comes, as do all atheists and agnostics. This doesn't make us bad people.

family, friends and lover, and nature for being cool, all these things dont force themselves on you and say if you dont love us we will punish you for eternity. God must be pretty insecure!
When Im camping on a mountain with a view around me, I may say yeah cheers earth thats pretty cool.
