i'm really interested in a guy i met recently but he lives about 75miles away. its like a 2hour train journey. at what point do you qualify as being in a long distance relationship coz i've done different continents and thats difficult on a different level. just wondering what you lot think.

A relationship can be considered long distance when they live far enough away that you cannot be with them as often as you like. If he/she lives an hour away but you could only be with that person say on weekends because of other factors and ditto for them then it would be considered long distance.

I guess as long you need to take internal/external flights or travel for more than 6hours at a go, it qualifies. The difficult thing is how to maintain a long-distance relationship. Something which I'm actually reading on to maintain mine! Hope this helps...

Well my ex lived 4 hours away and i classed that as long distance. I think if they live far enough away for it not to be easy to go see them (like 2hours or more) it would be long distance. I guess its all perception

hmm long distance to me is anything that driving to see him to hang out and you couldnt drive back home because of the drive. i know that may sound confusin a lil bit. like i dated a guy at ft stewart in GA and thats only 3 hours away verses dating someone in miami that is like 6 hours away

As I sit and Ponder your question, I am reminded,of a past relationship and I came up with, what you have is a conundrum... A Geographically undesirable relationship.but in reality how far is too far? 75 miles is nothing compared to 3000...correct me if I am wrong. please. If you just met him, ride it , see where it goes, if it grows...run with it...if not.... oh well. You will eventually know your next move. :)... I'd say give it to God...But I have too many of my own, I cannot validate.

i don't think the distance matters vs. the time you actually physically spend together.
