provide the same military means Israel has to its' neighbours.
and keep the US from sticking their nose in
This may not be the most constructive solution but maybe the hard way is the only way left when all others have already failed.
Besides it might stop them from believing that they are a world power that can not be harmed; And would teach them
to act with a little more caution towards their neighbours

Both the UN and G8 have said that the terrorist started the fight and Israel is only legitimately protecting itself. So they do not have to do any forcing at all they have recognising it is behaving like a normal state.

Hamas are terrorists, Hamas are now the government of Palestinians. They attack Israel = War! = The right to self defence by Israel.

Hezbollah are funded by Iran and Syria to attack Israel. They have provided thousands of rockets for them to fire at and kill innocent Israelis. Lebanon knew the rockets were being stockpiled and fired from their country. Knew the terrorists were openly living and operating there and did nothing to stop it. = War. = The right to self defence by Israel.

Would you accept 9/11 without doing anything about it. If any country fired rockets into your country would you not expect action to be taken to stop it? Why do you think Israel should not be entitles to do the same?

They can start by:
1-stating out that they can't go out and destroy a whole country because of what they call "self defense"
2-force them to release the prisoners they still have -over 10,000 Arabs- and among the Lebanese is a man that was taken when he was 17 and now he is 34 still in prison!!
3-enforce the respect of Arabs rights in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria
4-enforce the implementation of the UN resolutions such as 242 that tells Israel to with drawl from Golan-Syria
Do you know why Lebanon keeps Huzzballa's forces after the withdrawal from most of his lands? because the Lebanese army was being forbidden from getting any weapons and is said that in a fight against the Israelis army it has ammunition enough for a SINGLE day!!

Well its difficult, but Hizbollah hold the mandate of power in Lebanon (largest party in government) and is backed by two other sovereign states, and they started this particular incursion, so in theory the UN should sort out Lebanon, Syria and IRAN, but this won't happen because of mass world-wide anti-semitism and the cosying up to Arabs who hold the world to ransom over oil which they were fortunate to find in their sandy gardens !!

Nobody can force anybody to do anything. Try forcing terrorists to act normal. They'll probably spit in your face, for starters. What's UN anyway? There's nothing united about it!

Israel people should negotiate with Muslims about two kidnapped soldiers, like all normal nations would do. But instead they like to show their power and kill innocent civilians.

By calling for sanctions eg trade embargo, sports boycott, suspension of aid, etc

It took many years of sanctions to persuade South Africa to cease its apartheid policies and it will take many years to persuade Israel to stop same against Arab people in its area of influence
