Behavioural corrections to be made with motivational aspects. The culture of sueing own brother should not be appreciated. Try to find out what makes him so vilotent. Gradually make him understand the way he likes to comprehend. No force should be applied in achieving the desired result, which may not be overnight, but during a substantially long period.

NO! I would give him a well placed pucnh in the face, if he gets violent again I will break his legs! I have a small brother, the best brother in the world, he really cares about me, and this is unheard of in todays society, maybe cause my parents work all day and I'm the only father figure around. Still if he would get too crazy, I will beat him till he gets himself together. Maybe this is strange, but it isn't. I love my brother, and I'm not a violent person, but if he crosses the line, he is in for it , don't ask me what I'm gonna do to the one that insults him or lays a finger on him. They will wish they were never born.
Cheers!

A suit wouldn't help the relationship, it would probably make him even angrier, but it does cover the cost of medical expenses. I would sue and get a restraining order. I wouldn't put my health and safety on the line so I could have a relationship--even if it was my brother. If it were me, I would definitely put my safety first so that maybe there would be a chance to work on my relationship.

I have even called the cops on my daughter... she is only 11..... but I've called them in when she was 10 for being physically violent towards me............so if I had a brother who did that to me... yes I would. It's wrong to hit anybody, family members or anyone, it doesn't matter. It's also against the law

It was a thought but now he is in too much crap right now with his own bad health for me to want to mess with that and his situation makes really me concerned for him at times. On second thought I don't think I would unless it was some case I could win easily. Like something that was obviously criminal. Its been way too many years between me and our fighting childhoods together to prove anything against him at this point.
