And the voltage and duration of the electricity supply?

If it can be done, the wars would have ended much faster...
at least... no more submarine warfare?
Kills off all the seafood for some islands...? ....

The current in the wire has to be strong enough to cause any real damage, because the sea has a lot of salt and minerals that change the way the electricity flows, so it depends if it's a pole or a radio.

Nope, as the previous answerer said, the electricity would cut automatically. But, even presuming it didn't, the sea is just too big to carry a current far enough and powerfully enough to do any damage. That's why electric storms at sea do no damage to marine life.

Nah not at all.
Sea is a wide area and a electric cable of any watts is not capable of covering the whole area of sea.
So yes the part of the sea will be electrocuted but not the whole sea.

Bye .............

no the eletric current will affect only the creature that are near of the cable because of the electric resistance of the water, ie when travelling in the water the electricity lose intensity ans after a while there is no current anymore.

it depends on the cable, but it will have a local effect and most aren't strong enough to get everything
