Islam question... you have been warned.?

Question

In England recently a 25year old lady was killed by her uncle and cousin, because her boyfriend was from afghanistan and she was pakistani so they were different types of muslimor maybe different castes.. what would have happened to them in an islamic country? a pat on the back or death for murdering her? she was stabbed 18 times in front of her parents... and cut her throat three times

In answer to your question i would think that in a proper court they would have been put to death but friend's and family's ...well yes would have given him a pat on the back.

firstly i dont get what your question actually is...but i guess if she was in an islamic country the same thing probably would have happened...if you actually know the Islamic traditions and read into their history you will find that family is a major part of their society. Girls will not do anything their parents do not want them to do and it is a big shock for people who come to england and find that their children do not behave as they did in their homeland and how they did with their parents. Do not get me wrong, these people are living in almost the prehistoric era but to them if they were living in an islamic country this would not have been thought twice about, to them they are protecting their family name and if someone even their own sister is a threat to their family reputation they would have to be 'got rid of' so they eliminate them. it is not right or fair but that is what they believe and people now have to learn that these traditions are not acceptable in the western society.

also i do not understand why some people judge the whole of the Muslim community on things that some psycos do....just because a few think that these kind of things are right does not mean the rest of us do, its not fair at all, we are not all like that we should not be judge on the wrongful actions of some.

No pats on the back in any way. The trouble is that many muslims have a tendancy to combine cultural traditions with islamic pracitise and create this distasteful hybrid that allows( in their mind) and justifies their actions.

There is no basis for what the "uncle" or "cousin" did. An Islamic verdit might confer the death sentence on them BUT the misogynists who shape cultural values would " pat " them.

The difference between the violence in the US that Samir F mentioned and the violence against women in Islamic cultures is that in the US, it is not a socially accepted norm. No one here thinks beating or killing or raping a woman is a good thing; no one here thinks that a family's "honor" will be restored if they murder a sister or daughter just because she has a boyfriend. I am amazed that so many Americans refuse to even admit that woman in those cultures are treated terribly; instead they jump on you and call you a bigot if you point it out. I just read this article, and it horrified me, but it's also very interesting because it shows that many women are not happy with their restrictive lives:

Their actions are not correct according to Islam. There's no such thing as different castes in Islam, your brother is your brother whether he is black, indian, pakistani etc... In a Islamic country they would be treated like criminals of course and given a sentence for murder. Islamicly a muslim can marry another muslim even if they are different races because race is a trivial matter, well it supposed to be. Some Muslims don't practise Islam.

sad but very true, killings like these go on every day, peoples beliefs r very sad, especially when that young girl just wanted to love and be loved. although us westerners will never understand their cultures or religions and even if we did we wouldn't agree with them. for example the same thing happened in Afghanistan and the whole family were slaughtered for the young sons rebellion, nearly a whole village of people cut from crotch too throat an left to bleed to death, our forces were left to clean up the bodies, babies too.sickening to us yet the people to blame celebrated and danced as the bodies were taken away,its truly sickening

I think they probably would have got a pat on the back. I read the same article in the daily mail. It was so shocking. I cant believe they did it in the first place let alone in front of the two young nieces to serve as a warning.
I will add this question to my watch list as I am quite interested to hear any possible arguments against. :(

all are synthesised by the western countries because of the fast pace to embrace Islam

If someone do sex with one and other with out marriage??

please read the Quran and Sunah and donot point Islam point out these culprit who are the wrong doer.

The massacures that happened in the Great land of United States of America against the Native Americans. More than 95% of the Native American population were massacures. They were literally shot everywhere they were found!. Ask any US History teacher and he would shed some light upon you regarding this subject. More than 90% of Americans are considered CHRISTIANS.

I could easily link the above events and the much more ones that were documented in history to Judaism and Christianity. But any normal educated person would seperate these kinds of massacures from religion.
