Aerobics exercises will help you a lot with your stamina on the stage. Mostly when you have to sing and dance at the same time.

Try to sing while you are doing aerobics, feel your breathing going deep on your longs, feel your support, feel the muscles on your stomach working going out when you take the breading and coming inside and up while you singing. At the same time try to relax the muscles on your throat and chest, More relaxed you sing, more beautiful and powerful will be your sound.

Finally, practice your dance and singing every day, that will help you to create stamina and comfort. Remember to vocalize and do some stretch exercises to warm up your body and voice before the rehearsals and performances and drink enough water to keep hydrated your vocal chords.

Hope this help.
Good Luck

Yes, all the answers are good. Exercising is important. I had to tap dance while singing a solo in a musical once and it was tough! I started working out to stay more in shape, but what I found more helpful beyond that was actually singing WHILE I worked out. I played tennis with a friend and used to sing at the top of my lungs while doing it, so I could hear how clear I sounded. It really helps :) Good luck!

You really need to be an athlete to do the singing, dancing thing well. If you've ever heard of Broadway star Sutton Foster, she's amazing at that. In order to maintain good breath support while dancing you really need to do cardio/aerobic excersizes like running and swimming. That should really help your stamina.

Do a lot of cardio. It helps you breathe while you exercise. I dance a lot (Tap, jazz, ballet, modern) but I'm no singer. I'm sure it would help though. Try running for 30 mins every day.

The trick is to keep the microphone glued to your mouth... and don't get puffed out.
