Athesits believe there isn't anything to pray to, so there wouldn't be a point, so no.

For some definitions of agnostic, maybe. It's been used to describe people still active in a church, but with significant questions about the faith. They may, at times, give it the benefit of the doubt.

For other definitions, no. An agnostic in the sense that given the lack of evidence, and the lack of existing belief in any particular religion, would have nothing to pray to, really, or they wouldn't be in this category. Thinking about religion is similar, in some respects... perhaps it could be said that where a theist prays, an agnostic asks a question.

I am an atheist and I do pray. There is a complete difference between assigning anthropomorphic qualities to nature and believing that evil is the way to go. I don't think God is anything remotely close to what you look like, nor do I believe that you have the infinite intellectual power to comprehend the machinations of the complete universe.
Just because you try, in all your goodness, to squeeze God down into your head so that you can pray to "Him" doesn't mean that you are better than me, so get off your high horse.
The universe has a way of balancing things out. There will always be a flat line, in the end, of what you have given and what you have taken. My prayer is that I give of myself, to make things better for everyone that I meet, especially my family. I hope that my kindness will be reciprocated one day.
If that makes me a bad person in your eyes, then I am very sorry to hear that.

No, I don't pray.
I do go with what johndavis said. Sometimes I'll look up and ask "Are you really there?" But nothing ever happens.

Also, if there is a God, or higher power(s) behind life, and everything happens according his plan (as is said), then praying for things would be pointless since he already would know what's going to happen for whatever his reasons would be.

I believe that anything is possible since there hasn't been any proof of God's existence or his non existence.

I'm agnostic and I do not pray. I guess the reason I don't is because I don't have someone other than myself in my head. If I were to pray, I would be essentially having an internal dialog with myself.

I do meditate, from time to time, but that's it.

nicely you may desire to ask him because of the fact maximum human beings of Atheist's do no longer pray. additionally you pronounced "and are they even going to hearken to him pray, so as that who ever he's praying to can answer his prayers?" Assuming there's a god in case you pray to him possibility is at that comparable right 2nd 1000's of alternative everyone seems to be praying to him what are the possibilities that he will hear your prayer out of all those prayers. and how many cases have your prayers genuinely been spoke back? (and that i do no longer recommend a prayer for a sturdy grade or to recover from a affliction or some thing)

Agnostics might, because you can be agnostic and still believe in God.

But with Atheists...

I choose to be my own person. I don't have to depend on an imaginary friend to make me happy. Logically: I believe in no 'higher being', so who would I pray to?

I'm not an atheist nor am I an agnostic, and I don't pray.

Why should they ?

Praying is for God based religions. Worshiping is mainly in eastern religions.

Agnostics or Atheists do not have that need.
