can anyone recommend a good private investigator to find a missing person?

I am looking for my sons father I have very little details but his name and a few places he has lived. He is not a bad person we lost contact do to me moving and living in different states. I have done searches on people finders and other searches and have not found him yet. My next step is to hire a P.I.

Sorry . . . I could not resist. Honestly, I do not know any, but I admire what you are doing. You should search for a blog about reunited relatives and ask there. Get references. I think Google has a blog search in its advanced features.
