Can God use the internet as a means to relay messages to the faithfull?

Is the computer a god or an idol? Is someone who spends alot of time on the internet committing idolatry?

I tell you what... when I had AOL, God would talk to me all the time. It's his preferred ISP.

Edit from comment below: Damn, that dude's right. Comcast is indeed God's favorite ISP because of how shitty AOL treated him when he tried to cancel.

God uses many ways to call people but somehow I doubt that he will drop you some mail???

hummm......a computer is a computer.....you get stuck to the screen....that is bad...you are over doing it.....idolatry is worshipping of idols.....unless you are worshiping idols through the internet......which you must be
