All muslims are not terrorists, but most terrorists now-a-days are muslims.(Not sure how you can contradict this).

Few things i like to add to answer others:
1) there are not 6 million muslims in america (Thats almost 2.1% of the population lol....not true)..check CIA Fact book or census bureau for information that is factual and not your local mullah.
2) Currently as it stands there are 33% christian, 20% muslim, 14% Hindu...about 13%atheists etc.(2002 estimate) in the world Christianity is dropping ...hinduism is stable and islam is growing.
3) Islam will never dominate in america..largely because the americans have slowed down immigration from muslim countries...yeah you dont need too many swords when you have muslims swarming in(yes most islamists here like in europe are immigrants).Countries around the world are now checking immigration from islamic countries,the current situation in the world will realy hurt muslims who want to have a better life.(One also begs to ask the question "why the move from there if they love islam so much and we are infidels ?"...anyway thats another story -- i aslo think there is an agenda behind that).
4)Even if islam does overtake other religions it will not do so in your or my lifetime....reason being they are about to hit their peak and there are far few vulnerable people left to convert!So they are going to have to rely on mass reproduction which they do quite well.
5)Islam has been taking huge hits on its reputation...beacuse of terrorism and some of the momentum it had gained is slowed down.
6)Islam is going to find it harder to convert the west primarily because they are very well informed.This is the information age, we are in the 21st century, and they can think for themselves.Remember, most muslims in the west are immigrants!
7)Many muslims after coming down to the west and getting a taste of the good life, dont realy follow the religion like they do in the ME.largely due to the fact that there are no hardliners on their back or they just dont want to.
And before moving on i would like to add this.All that matters to god is that you are good human being which i think i am and when i pray at night i use the word god---not a name but god..thats all that should matter.

No of course that's not true. Muslims are not all terrorists infact most Muslim people don't at all support any terrorist activities. If there are terrorist groups out there, criticism should be directed at them and not Islam in general and it should not be assumed that every Muslim must therefore be a terrorist. Unfortunately this is exactly what happens so it is hardly surprising why some Muslim people resent the Western world.
Think about it for a minute: why a nun can be covered from head to toe and she's respected for devoting herself to God, but then a Muslim woman does that, she's considered "oppressed"?

Why a Jew can grow a beard and he's just practicing his faith, and when a Muslim does that, he's an extremist?

When a western woman stays at home to look after the house and kids she is sacrificing herself and doing good for the household, but when a Muslim woman does so; she "needs to be liberated"?

When a Christian kills someone, religion is not mentioned, (i.e. Ireland and the IRA) but when a Muslim is charged with a crime, it's Islam that goes to trial?

No one agrees with terrorism and people should be open minded and place blame where it belongs rather than placing everyone in the same category because of the extreme actions of a few. I'm a Christian, but at the same time I see whats happening and to accuse innocent people of things they are not guilty of would not be a Christian thing to do.

I am sure that there are many sane loving people who follow the tenets of Islam. You do understand however that the perception is what we westerners have seen. Just after 9-11 the news showed a Palestinian women dancing and celebrating because America was finally hit. I see images if the Palestinian people suffer because of the actions of the crazy religious zealots among them and I cry.. So a good question would be what makes you a terrorist?

Islam totally forbids the terrorist acts that are carried out by some misguided people. It should be remembered that all religions have cults and misguided followers, so it is their teachings that should be looked at, not the actions of a few individuals. Unfortunately, in the media, whenever a Muslim commits a heinous act, he is labeled a "Muslim terrorist". However, when Serbs murder and rape innocent women in Bosnia, they are not called "Christian terrorists", nor are the activities in Northern Ireland labeled "Christian terrorism". Also, when right-wing Christians in the U. S. bomb abortion clinics, they are not called "Christian terrorists". While it is true that in many places where Muslim armies went to liberate people or the land, they did carry the sword as that was the weapon used at that time. However, Islam did not spread by the sword because in many places where there are Muslims now, in the Far East like Indonesia, in China, and many parts of Africa, there are no records of any Muslim armies going there. To say that Islam was spread by the sword would be to say that Christianity was spread by guns, F-16's and atomic bombs, etc., which is not true. Christianity spread by the missionary works of Christians. Ten-percent of all Arabs are Christians. The "Sword of Islam" could not convert all the non-Muslim minorities in Muslim countries. In India, where Muslims ruled for 700 years, they are still a minority. In the U.S.A., Islam is the fastest growing religion and has 6 million followers without any sword around.

verses relating to fighting or "killing" refer to those who aggressed against Muslims and mostly [especially in Chapters 8&9 of the Quran] refer to idolatrous Arabs who committed "war crimes" against Muslims.

Both Hitler, Stalin and the United States were racing to perfect a nuclear bomb to use it to win a war and they are all Christians.




The final Messenger of God Prophet Muhammed said, "One who kills (non-Muslim citizen of the Islamic state), will not even smell the fragrance of Paradise."



Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) further warned: "Whoever oppresses any Dhimmi (non-Muslim citizen of the Islamic state), I shall be his prosecutor on the Day of Judgment."



By going through the teachings of Islam, it is clear that such a religion has only come to benefit mankind - not to destroy it

I agree with tuflady. I know this, if me and my girlfriends decided to go on a killing spree to wipe out blacks in my community, I would certainly not be applauded. You would not see a bunch of white people dancing in the streets to celebrate. In fact, within 24 hours, we would most likely be shot dead by the authorities.
Why aren't we doing that to these murderous villains?
Is it because, after all, they are only killing Jews?

Anyone who is a Muslim who does not speak up against Iran, Syria, Hamas and Hizb'allah is the same terrorist as they are. They are even worse human beings if they throw a party afterward, as they did when the World Trade Towers collapsed.
